HALF THE GUI

Like a puzzle, GUI is starting to piece together, from simple icons and buttons to fully working combat ui. Our work is 50% complete.

HOW DO I USE THIS

Weapons, armor, pottions, trinkets and gadgets of all kind. Loot, collect and hoard your treasures. Use it or trade it. There are plenty of items in this world, you just need to find it.

- We have items for everything from additives to killing objects.

ROUND ONE, FIGHT!

Creating a fight screen interface was definitely a challenge. The amount of sanity spent on changes and tweaks was worth it though. It's clean, functional and pretty darn cool. Our dragon is waiting to beat your ass.

THIS SUITS ME

From now on, you will be able to make an account and create your own unique character. Choose your race, class, your appearance and ofcourse your awesome name. Everyone can see how your adventurer looks, so make it count, make others jelous.

THE FIRST GUI

When we started to create our GUI we had 2 major things on the mind. Keep it simple and stay consistent. We all know that even the greatest piece of software turns into pure frustration if GUI doesn't make sense. Clean, simple and consistent interface will allow our players to enjoy our game with ease.

YOU DON'T WANT TO BE BLOND?

It took us a lot of coffee and energy drinks, but we managed to transform our character concepts into polished, final and badass form. In total we have 8+1 characters..one is our secret :) With a multiple skins, hairs, faces and other customizations, you will be able to create character of your liking.

CONCEPTUAL

The funniest part for us was thinking of all the new races. Coming up with names for them. We really enjoyed this, sometimes more than we should.

MARCO POLO WOULD BE PROUD

After finishing the core lore we moved to whiteboard and tried couple of sketches for the mainland. You wouldn't believe me but creating a map that works with physical laws is not that easy. Connecting rivers, thinking about temperature zones etc. in the end, we smoothly created something, you will find only after few closer looks on the map.

IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS LORE

Coming up with ideas is the best part for every project and in fantasy you are not limited by anything, expect for your co-founders. We enjoyed our lunches and dreamt about the joy of working on a game (none of us known what a hellish path we have chosen for ourselves)

Skill system have been designed and implemented. Same as first skills. From the simple slashy-slash, infernal fireballs to the deception skills as smoke bomb. What style you do you prefer, brute force or strategy and deception?

CUT, GUARD, SHINE

Carefully designed loot engine has been put in place. This engine will make sure, that next time you defeat a boss, you will recieve some shiny rewards. Weapons and armor, potions and gold, leave nothing unchecked, there is much to be found.

WAR CRAZED

Unique combat engine has been implemented, something you haven't experienced yet. No random chances, no RNG. Aim for the hit, aim for the vital spots with your mouse, its not that easy as it sounds. Some things will make it easier for you and some harder. Your skill definitely counts here.

We have discussed about technical background and basic projects that would best fit our needs with BOI and in the end, we chose HTML5 over Flash. In time, we will try animations through HTML Canvas
